I Will Tell You Three Things
If I tell them to you and they come true, then will you believe me?
Issue #2 of Dracula Beyond Stoker - the Renfield Issue, featuring my story “R.N.”, in which Dracula’s servant is reimagined as a drug-addled male nurse working the night shift on a modern-day maternity ward - is available now, at DBS’ webstore and on Amazon.
I did a quick little Q&A with DBS to promote the issue, and you can read it on both their Instagram and their Facebook feed.
I’ve got another short story coming out in June, from Quill & Crow Publishing House (with whom I’ve previously worked on the anthology Bleak Midwinter Volume I: The Darkest Night, which contains my story “The Prisoner and the Robe” and is still very much available). Their new anthology is titled Violent Delights and Midsummer Dreams: An Anthology of Shakespeare Retellings, and it’s going to feature my story “Such Sweet Uncleanness”, an extremely unsettling retelling of Measure for Measure, a play that was arguably unsettling enough as it is.
The owls are not what they seem. This is is all I am permitted to say.
